Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation
My clinical background includes individualized rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, sports demands, and recovery following motor vehicle accidents. My experience spans movement assessment, manual therapy, blood flow restriction training, dry needling, vestibular therapy, and progressive strengthening, with care shaped around each person’s needs and goals.
Clinic Leadership and Management
As a clinic director, clinic manager, and lead physical therapist, I have guided daily operations for multidisciplinary teams of rehabilitation professionals and administrative staff. My responsibilities have included budgeting, recruitment, team communication, and supporting a consistent patient experience.
Occupational Medicine and Work Readiness
I have worked with workers’ compensation cases, industrial strengthening and conditioning, Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs), and Post Offer Employment Testing (POET). My experience also includes ergonomic evaluations for Pierce Transit in Lakewood, Washington, connecting physical assessment with the practical demands of the workplace.
Clinical Mentorship and Physician Relationships
Mentoring clinicians and building relationships across disciplines have been central to my work. As a physician liaison, I connected with orthopedic surgeons, urgent care, occupational medicine, and primary care providers, supporting communication and collaboration around patient care.
On the Sidelines and Competition Floor
My work has extended beyond the clinic through emergency medical responder (EMR) and physical therapy coverage for local academy and youth soccer, USL League One and League Two teams, and CrossFit competitions. These settings bring together my professional training and lifelong connection to sport.
Jaw and Neck Care
My clinical interests include temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ/D) and symptoms involving the neck. Care begins with an individual evaluation. Through my partnership with South Sound Dental, physical therapy and dental perspectives come together while each provider maintains a distinct clinical role.
